Pour ce retour de Maxim Vengerov, nous avons réussi à élaborer un programme de musique de chambre exceptionnel réunissant le grand violoncelliste britannique Steven Isserlis et le pianiste macédonien Simon Trpceski.
Ils joueront ensemble pour la première fois. Au programme, la sonate pour piano et violoncelle de Chostakovitch, la sonate pour violon et piano de Prokofiev et les trios de Rachmaninov et Chostakovitch. Ils nous convient à un concert aux teintes intimistes dans la chaleur de la belle salle du Victoria Hall.
Maxim Vengerov est universellement salué comme l'un des meilleurs musiciens au monde et considéré commele plus grand violoniste vivant. Un des violoncellistes les plus réputés de sa génération, jouant avec les plus grands orchestres et les artistes les plus représentatifs de notre époque, Steven Isserlis est aussi un fervent défenseur de la musique de chambre. Simon Trpceski a été propulsé sur le devant de la scène intl par la BBC New Génération Artists en 2001. Depuis, il se produit sur les principales scènes musicales.
