Les concerts d’Arcadi Volodos sont des moments rares et exceptionnels. En décembre 2021, à Genève, le pianiste avait laissé “une salle en délire, debout pour clamer ses hourras”. Le voici donc de retour pour notre plus grand plaisir. Depuis plus de 20 ans, les interprétations d'Arcadi Volodos sidèrent le public. Maître d’une technique extraordinaire et sans faille, qu’il met entièrement au service de l’interprétation, Arcadi crée des univers propres à chaque compositeur, à chaque œuvre. Ses exécutions sont le résultat de longues réflexions sur les œuvres. Il cherche, dans ses propres mots, « à enflammer le cœur du public, à l’emmener avec la musique sur des possibilités d’ascension insoupçonnées ». Né à Saint-Pétersbourg en 1972, Arcadi Volodos commence ses études par le chant et la direction. Il ne s’est mis sérieusement à l’étude du piano qu’à partir de 1987, au Conservatoire de Saint-Pétersbourg, puis au Conservatoire de Moscou avec Alina Egiazarova et à Paris et Madrid avec Dmitri Bachkirov. Son fameux concert au Carnegie Hall en 1996 l’établi comme le grand pianiste de sa génération.
